Systems Engineer, Test Engineer
We’re expanding our team to support an OEM with established internal‑combustion engine (ICE) programs, and we’re looking for engineers who thrive in a hands‑on dyno environment. These roles will focus heavily on durability testing, data analysis, and day‑to‑day test coordination onsite at the OEM.
Most openings will be contract positions, with the potential for one or two experienced engineers to join Dumarey USA directly depending on fit and background.
What you’ll do- 🔧 Execute durability and performance tests on ICE engines
- 🔧 Operate in OEM‑side dyno labs with established procedures
- 🔧 Monitor test progress, data integrity, and system performance
- 🔧 Support troubleshooting, issue identification, and next‑step recommendations
- 🔧 Analyze test results for performance, emissions, and durability trends
- 🔧 Collaborate daily with OEM counterparts and Dumarey engineering teams
- 🔧 Contribute to continuous improvement of test methods and workflows
- ✔ Dyno test cell experience — especially durability, lifecycle, or long‑duration testing
- ✔ Background in powertrain development or testing
- ✔ Familiarity with tools like INCA, ATI Vision, Concerto, Uniplot, or similar
- ✔ Strong analytical and communication skills
- ✔ Comfortable working onsite in a fast‑paced OEM environment
You’ll be immersed in hands‑on engine development work, supporting real OEM programs with real performance and durability targets. These roles are ideal for those who love applied engineering in the test cell—not just theory on paper.
If this sounds like the next step in your engineering path—or if someone in your network would be a great fit—I’d love to connect.
