THE PRACTICE:
This role will align with our Manufacturing & Operations - Product Engineering & Services practice and fall under the Engineering Systems capability.
Product Engineering & Servicing professionals link engineering and product development spend to business value, unlocking new sources of growth for our clients. They operate at the core of our clients’ product and service value chains; fusing hardware, software, connectivity and cloud, coupled with supporting engineering systems, to drive competitiveness while ensuring business results.
Engineering Systems professionals are focused on digitizing, optimizing and transforming our clients‘ traditional and next generation R&D and engineering processes and tools. They combine deep knowledge of engineering systems, solutions, and tools that power process digitization including but not limited to deep PLM, Digital Thread/Twin, AI-powered engineering decision making cloud, MBSE tools, analytics tools, lab optimization, engineering compute and security.
The work:
Take ownership of complex projects, serving as the technical and subject matter expert
Write new code or modify existing code, and document what you’ve done
Help the head architect and solution team design tools and applications, and get them working based on project goals
Record how each application is configured and designed
Catch and fix coding problems, and tweak and improve your work along the way
Test applications and build test cases and scenarios
Coach members of your workstream teams, sharing skills and motivation as needed
Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requiremets
Here’s what you need:
Minimum 5 years of professional experience with a major PLM system (PTC Windchill, Dassault Systèmes 3DExperience, Siemens Teamcenter, SAP-PLM)
Minimum 5 years of experience of PLM concepts and solutions
Minimum 2 years of professional experience with IT systems for engineering or manufacturing
Bonus points if:
You’re skilled at developing APIs
You have experience in Master Data Management (MDM)
You know everything there is to know about systems implementation methodology (especially Agile and Waterfall)
You can handle large data migration
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years' work experience)
