SR2 are partnering with a forward-thinking engineering consultancy delivering high-impact industrial, commercial, and institutional projects. We’re looking for an experienced MEP Revit Designer / Technologist to join a collaborative project team and play a key role in delivering high-quality BIM outputs.
This is an opportunity to work on complex, multi-disciplinary projects while contributing to cutting-edge design and coordination processes.
What you’ll be doing :- Develop and maintain detailed 3D Revit models across MEP systems (HVAC, piping, plumbing, electrical)
- Produce accurate construction drawings and coordinated design packages
- Interpret engineering markups, sketches, and specifications into buildable designs
- Coordinate closely with architectural, structural, and engineering teams to ensure clash-free designs
- Participate in BIM coordination and clash detection using Navisworks
- Support project delivery through planning, scheduling, and workload management
- Review models and drawings to ensure quality, compliance, and accuracy
- Assist with quantity take-offs, reports, and material lists
- Contribute to BIM standards, templates, and workflows
- Support construction phases including RFIs and as-built documentation
- Engage with stakeholders including engineers, PMs, and clients
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural Technology, or similar
- 3-7 years’ experience in MEP design/drafting within engineering or industrial environments
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit (MEP)
- Experience with Navisworks for coordination and clash detection
- Strong understanding of MEP systems (HVAC, piping, plumbing, electrical)
- Exposure to industrial environments (manufacturing, utilities, processing) is advantageous
- Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (ASHRAE, CSA, CEC, building codes)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Collaborative mindset with clear communication skills
