Facilities Power Maintenance Engineer

Our client, an industry leader in water resource management, is seeking a Facilities Power Maintenance Engineer to join their team. As a Facilities Power Maintenance Engineer, you will be part of the Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF) supporting the Maintenance Department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

** Pay Range:**  $40-$42/HR

** What's the Job?*
* + Ensure the reliable and efficient operation of electrical power equipment across the facility.

+ Plan, schedule, and execute maintenance activities for electrical systems, including switch gear, transformers, and large VFDs.

+ Provide troubleshooting support and implement improvements to enhance system performance.

+ Manage multi-year power equipment maintenance contracts, including scheduling preventive maintenance and overseeing repairs.

+ Analyze electrical power disruptions using advanced software tools and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.

** What's Needed?*
* + Possession of an Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

+ In-depth knowledge of electrical power systems, including low and medium voltage equipment.

+

Experience with electrical safety standards and compliance, including NEC, OSHA, and NFPA codes.

+ Strong analytical skills and proficiency in power monitoring software such as Schneider Electric's Power Monitoring Expert.

+ Excellent communication and technical support skills to collaborate effectively with team members and contractors.
