Cloud Architect Security Clearance

Overview

The Cloud Architect will support CAA and Army Contracting Command - Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA).

• Responsible for engineering, building, testing, and deployment of cloud service offerings for new and existing cloud architectures.
• Develops architecture products, including technical architecture, business architecture, strategic planning, and business process design.
• Participates in high‑level enterprise architecture analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and development.
• Applies high‑level business and technical principles and methods to difficult technical problems to arrive at creative engineering solutions.
• Provides cloud architectural expertise to management and technical staff.
• Develops cloud architectural products and deliverables for the enterprise and operational business lines.
• Develops cloud system strategy and infrastructure design to support the strategy.
• Advises on selection of cloud technological purchases concerning processing, data storage, data access, and application requirements.

• Bachelor's degree and 7 years of experience.
• Adept at migrating systems to a cloud architecture from disparate platforms and utilizing a wide range of tools to implement/reimplement systems in a cloud architecture.
  * CCB, ARB, Army Governance, and cloud processes.
• Knowledge of Cloud Management and Migration (cARMY).
• Knowledge of Army Transformation.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Presentation and meeting facilitation experience.
• Secret Clearance.
