- Execute DRE activities on one or more projects concurrently
- Support Root Cause analysis of field issues
- Manage supplier deviations
- Support supplier ramp up - DFM
- Interface with supplier to drive one-time and high-quality deliveries
- Lead harness topology and partitioning
- Package components and collaborate with other systems within the application
- Identify components during the design phase for the wiring harness - connectors, terminals, wire gauges/type, etc.
- Optimize harness complexity across product lines to leverage standardization & modularity, where possible
- Complete electrical connectivity design for a battery system including Wire-list and DEF files for composite harness design, Load analysis
- Review and anticipate voltage drop calculations circuit sizing
- In-line connector pin count determination and circuit protection
- Collaborate with Systems Engineers and BMS Hardware Engineers to ensure all internal and customer-specific requirements are met
- Track and report on program progress to ensure requirements are met in a timely manner
- Support pre-launch builds as well as product launches
- Other duties as assigned
- Location:
Lake Orion, MI - Onsite at least 3 days a week
Education:
B.S. Electrical Engineering, B.S. Electrical Technology, or similar
Experience:
1 - 3 years experience in DRE role, Battery System Experience a plus
