    Duration: 24 Months
    Shift: Midnight Shift - 11:00 PM
    -7:00 AM Monday - Friday

    Professional Summary:
    • The main function of a quality engineer is to research and test the design, functionality and maintenance of products, equipment, systems and processes and develop quality standards.
    • A typical quality engineer has the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and evaluate product integrity and standards.
    Job Responsibilities:
    • Coordinates quality objectives with other departments
    • Drives continuous improvement by developing and implementing error and mistake proofing
    • Keeps management abreast of progress, developments and pending problems
    • Drive issues to closure through the various quality feedback loops
    • Analyzes assembly process data to look for trends or possible upcoming concerns.
    • Works with Advanced Quality Tools (i.e., PFMEAs) to ensure a quality assembly process
    • Keeps management abreast of progress, developments and pending problems
    • Analyzes SPC data and works with manufacturing engineering to make process improvements
    • Knowledge of GD&T and CMM operations
    • Facilitate others in the executions of Quality Improvement activities
    • To work in a plant environment, working hands-on with engine assembly
    Education/Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
    • 2-4 years experience required.
    • SPC data analysis experience
    • Advanced quality tool i.e.

      - PFMEAs
    • Experience analyzing assembly process data
    • Knowledge of GD&T and CMM operations
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
    • Knowledge of Prisma and a few tools for social media drawing - CG doc
