Control Engineer

A growing advanced manufacturing organization is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer to support the design, development, and launch of automated robotic systems used in high-volume production environments. This role will focus on controls engineering, automation integration, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of complex manufacturing equipment.

• Design, develop, and support robotic automation systems including injection molding press tending, automated assembly, vision inspection, laser marking, and material dispensing applications
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, robots, motion controls, and vision systems
• Lead controls integration activities including simulation, debugging, startup, and commissioning of new equipment
• Create and modify electrical and pneumatic schematics using CAD software
• Manage automation projects including timelines, budgets, equipment builds, and launch support
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, skilled trades, and internal engineering teams throughout all phases of project execution
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues on existing production equipment
• Evaluate and implement new automation technologies to improve manufacturing efficiency and maintain competitive advantage
• Support process development and material trials for automated dispensing applications
