Robotics, Systems Engineer
Inbolt brings intelligence to industrial robots with real-time 3D vision. This role owns the US delivery engine: faster deployments, higher reliability in production, and a tight feedback loop to product and engineering.
You will be the leader of our US Applications Engineering team (player-coach), responsible for execution in factories and building the processes and team to scale.
ResponsibilitiesDeployment execution: Lead commissioning and rollouts at customer sites, from first install to stable production.
Production reliability: Own escalations, root‑cause analysis, and permanent fixes with Engineering.
Playbooks and standards: Build repeatable deployment processes, checklists, documentation, and training for internal teams and partners.
Customer‑facing technical leadership: Build trust with plant teams, integrators, OEMs, and automation engineers.
Team leadership: Hire, coach, and structure the US Applications Engineering team as volume scales.
Field feedback loop: Turn field learnings into product requirements, prioritization inputs, and measurable improvements.

You will work closely with teams in Paris, the US, and Japan, and your work will directly impact deployments in factories worldwide.

What success looks likeFirst 6 to 12 months:
Deployments get faster and more predictable (time‑to‑production decreases). Fewer site emergencies (lower incident rate, faster MTTR when incidents happen). Higher production reliability (uptime and cycle consistency improve). Engineering gets clear, prioritized feedback with evidence, logs, and reproducible cases. The US team becomes a machine: strong hiring bar, clear ownership, clean process.
- A minimum of 6 years as a field‑based robotics or machine vision application engineer.
- Solid experience coding in Python.
- Flexibility with changing requirements in an evolving and fast‑paced environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to travel internationally.
- Ability to build strong relationships with customers and other teams within the company.
- Experience in Industrial Automation, Automotive industrial manufacturing, Computer Vision or similar is a plus.
