The Company is seeking a Head of Solutions Engineering to play a pivotal role in the transition from a high-touch, named-account customer approach to a broader enterprise program. This strategic position is essential for scaling the solutions engineering function while maintaining the technical depth and credibility that the company is known for. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end ownership of the solutions engineering function, including direct line management of a team of solutions engineers across different customer verticals.

The role demands a leader with a strong technical background, capable of setting and maintaining the technical engagement standards expected by the company's customers. The ideal candidate for the Head of Solutions Engineering role at the company will have a background as a current or recent leader of a solutions engineering function at a peer foundation lab, an AI-native enterprise firm, or an enterprise data platform.

They must be comfortable with the dual remit of customer-facing technical leadership and the operational aspects of scaling a customer-facing engineering function. The role is highly dynamic, with a focus on making day-to-day judgment calls that balance customer support with the company's research output. The Head of Solutions Engineering will be instrumental in shaping the function, rather than inheriting it, and will be expected to have a significant impact on the company's customer engagement and technical strategy.
