We are seeking an experienced Senior Controls Engineer to join our engineering team. Our engineers perform a variety of work in the design, programming, commissioning and installation phase of automated control systems. We also provide onsite troubleshooting and changes to existing equipment. WhatYou’ll Do
- Conduct high level engineering activities that utilize industry best practices, including creating projects from cradle to grave.
- Provide automated solutions for our customers by creating and updating PLC and HMI programs using Rockwell programming software, including Allen Bradley, RSLogix 500, RSLogix 5000, and Factory Talk View Studio.
- Utilize AutoCAD Electrical skills to create/update electrical, pneumatic and hydraulics schematics.
- Design programs for Fanuc Robots, as well as other robot brands such as Denso, ABB, Kuka.
- Design industrial communication networks such as Ethernet IP.
- Collaborate with engineers to follow customer design specifications and criteria, debug programs, troubleshoot automated assembly machines and service existing systems.
- Bachelor’s of Electrical Engineering degree (or strong equivalent) and your 7+ years work experience in the controls engineering field.
- Experience with vision systems such as Keyence, Cognex, or Dalsa.
- Ability to program Fanuc robots, and at least one of the following ABB, Kuka, Yaskawa.
- Strong working knowledge of industrial communication networks such as Device Net, Modbus, Profinet, Proibut, and Ethernet IP.
- Ability to manage multiple projects that may have shifting priorities and deadlines.
