Position: Controls Engineer 3

Controls Engineer III – Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

We’re looking for a Controls Engineer III to support the design, development, and optimization of industrial automation and control systems. This role is ideal for an experienced controls engineer who enjoys troubleshooting complex equipment, improving manufacturing processes, and working closely with cross‑functional engineering teams to deliver reliable and efficient automation solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Design and implement control systems for industrial equipment and automated manufacturing processes
  • Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and SCADA programs
  • Configure and integrate sensors, actuators, and industrial control devices
  • Perform system testing, debugging, and root cause analysis of automation issues
  • Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineering teams on system integration efforts
  • Maintain documentation including wiring diagrams, control logic, and system configurations
  • Support compliance with safety standards and automation best practices
  • Provide technical support and training to maintenance and operations teams
What We’re Looking For
  • 5–7 years of Controls Engineering or Industrial Automation experience
  • Strong PLC programming experience (Allen‑Bradley, Siemens, or similar)
  • Experience with HMI/SCADA systems and industrial communication protocols
  • Hands‑on experience with Siemens hardware/software including 840D, Step7, and TIA Portal
  • Experience supporting PCU
    50 HMI environments
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in manufacturing environments
  • Knowledge of electrical schematics, instrumentation, and control theory
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related discipline
