Our client is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer Distribution to serve as a disciplinary lead on electrical distribution design projects supporting utility clients. Locations:
Ann Arbor, MI | Raleigh, NC | Orlando, FL

IN OFFICE 3 DAYS/WEEK
This role offers the opportunity to manage full life cycle engineering projects from planning and design through construction support and closeout working directly with utility clients on meaningful, high-impact distribution infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as single disciplinary lead for electrical distribution design on assigned projects
- Manage and perform engineering activities across the full project life cycle
- Develop engineering calculations, specifications, single-line diagrams, and construction drawings
- Provide technical guidance and quality review on project deliverables
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and other engineering disciplines
- Support business development and client relationship activities
- Mentor junior engineers
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in electrical distribution engineering
- Demonstrated experience with utility clients
- Full project life cycle experience (project engineering from concept through construction)
- Active P.E. license preferred
- Experience with overhead and underground distribution design
- Familiarity with NESC, utility standards, and distribution planning
- Experience with protection and automation systems
- Strong client-facing and project coordination skills
