We are seeking a motivated and analytical Value Optimization Engineer to drive cost efficiency and technical excellence across our automotive systems. In this role, you will act as a bridge between engineering and finance, utilizing benchmarking and value engineering to optimize components without sacrificing quality or performance.
Key ResponsibilitiesYour focus will be on identifying efficiencies and streamlining costs through data-driven analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
Cost Reduction & Strategy: Identify and champion cost-saving opportunities across various vehicle systems and components.
Benchmarking & Analysis: Lead teardown analyses and competitive studies to understand industry trends and competitor cost structures.
Idea Generation: Facilitate value optimization workshops with internal engineering teams and external suppliers to brainstorm high-impact savings.
Design-to-Cost (DTC): Support standardization and DTC activities to ensure cost targets are integrated early in the design phase.
Project Reporting: Present detailed subsystem-level optimization results and project status updates to stakeholders.
Systems Management: Maintain and manage critical engineering tools and databases, including eVOS, MCM, and benchmarking repositories.
