Controls Engineer

Position: Controls Engineer 3
Our client, a global automotive manufacturing leader, is seeking a Controls Engineer to join their team. As a Controls Engineer, you will be part of the Technical Services team supporting production, maintenance, and cross-functional operations teams. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, effective communication, and teamwork abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

** Pay Range:**  $52-$60/hour

** What's the Job?*
* + Provide production line support for PLC, CNC, HMI, and robot controls (Siemens-based platforms)

+ Troubleshoot and resolve equipment faults and unplanned downtime on manufacturing lines

+ Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize KPIs and throughput

+ Support maintenance teams in diagnosing and repairing machine control issues

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex equipment and process challenges

** What's Needed?*
* + Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field

+ 5-7 years of experience in controls engineering or industrial automation

+ Strong experience with Siemens PLCs (S7-300, S7-1500), drives, and servo systems

+

Experience with robot programming (Fanuc/Kuka) and industrial networks (Profinet/Profibus)

+ Ability to work in a plant environment supporting production and maintenance operations
