Amazon Principal Engineering (APET) Team Member – Mechanical Engineer      A dynamic, fast paced, program guiding role focused on Mechatronic Engineering for the Amazon Account, with a Mechanical Engineering background.  The Amazon Principal Engineering Team (APET) is charged with ensuring development of tools and processes to drive excellence in execution for the Amazon Project Teams both in quality and efficiency.  The candidate for this role will act as a trusted advisor to our external Customers at Amazon and our internal execution team partners (engineering, installation, and management).  

This position will require real time collaboration with the Performance Excellence team, R&D, Customer Service and our Global Engineering partners.#

* Regularly facilitate kaizen events and act as an advisor that troubleshoots and resolves extremely complex problems within multi-departments across regions and/or cross-functional areas.
* Direct process measurement, program scorecards and other metrics, which can also be used to drive process improvements in the end-to-end project lifecycle.
* Support sales level concept and Solution Development technical reviews.  Helping drive consistent solutions and proven designs.
* Support project level technical reviews, including the review of drawings, maintenance access, and rates, to name a few.

*** 8+ years of mechanical application engineering experience.
