Job Responsibilities
  • Support team efforts related to product, process, tooling, testing, and materials as it relates to product engineering activities.
  • Take direction from other staff engineers and Engineering Managers for predevelopment engineering activities through the production phase. Understand program schedules and report progress as required.
  • Serve as a liaison and coordinate development activities of internal and external resources. Provide problem‑solving support by initiating action to overcome obstacles.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts: research, recommend, and implement new and/or existing products, processes, materials, and equipment. Engage in comparative and competitive analysis to ensure utilization of the most appropriate and beneficial techniques.
  • Support team effort in benchmarking automotive and non‑automotive parts when necessary.
  • Perform other duties as necessary for completion of projects and achievement of departmental goals.
