About the Role
We are seeking a Civil Engineer with a background in land development to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial, residential, and mixed-use development projects while collaborating with planners, surveyors, architects, and construction teams.
Responsibilities- Prepare site civil engineering designs including grading, drainage, roadway, water, sewer, and stormwater management systems.
- Develop construction documents, engineering reports, cost estimates, and technical specifications.
- Perform site feasibility and due diligence studies.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required).
- EIT required; PE license preferred (or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe).
- 3–8 years of experience in civil site/land development design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (required); experience with stormwater modeling software a plus.
- Strong communication and coordination skills with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
- Knowledge of local codes, zoning regulations, and permitting processes.
