Product Designer

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical components and assemblies based on project requirements and selected parts.
• Create detailed manufacturing drawings, including tolerances, materials, and assembly instructions using Solid Works CAD software.
• Capture and interpret design requirements from stakeholders to ensure accurate implementation.
• Collaborate with teams on designing and component selection, ensuring designs meet functional, cost, and manufacturability criteria.
• Perform design reviews, iterations, and validations to optimize for performance and production.
• Support prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–3 years of relevant work experience in mechanical design and drafting.
• Proficiency in CAD tools such as Solid Works and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, GD&T, and material selection.
• Ability to translate requirements into precise engineering drawings.
• Proactive mindset suitable for a startup's agile workflow.
• Experience in product development cycles from concept to production.
• Knowledge of FEA (Finite Element Analysis) for design validation.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
