We are looking for a talented
Test Engineer I, you will be responsible for validating and testing client components and systems to aid in the development of a high-quality process that meets Customer needs.
Main Responsibilities:
- Analyze test objectives and testing parameters to provide test results.
- Learn to use equipment instrumentation for set up and calibration.
- Understanding of basic level system for vehicle troubleshooting.
- Learn to create build sheets and books using templates.
- Understanding of project management fundamentals including work plans, schedules, resource plans, and status reports.
- Understanding of gains, full scales, and frequencies.
- Use a Windows based computer system to access relevant test procedures and quality system documents, enter measurement data, store, and retrieve files from the network, etc.
- Work with the staff to ensure quality testing.
- Ensure work is performed in a safe manner using all available safety equipment.
- All other related duties as assigned.
- Possess mental faculties consistent with performing the minimum requirements of the job.
- Adhere and perform all duties aligned with the core values of the LINK Group organization, Can-Do Attitude, Courage, Commitment, Humility and Accountability.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related Associate’s Degree with 2 years relevant work experience in an automotive engineering laboratory; equivalent related work experience also acceptable in lieu of education.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in an automotive engineering laboratory.
- High School Diploma.
- Proven knowledge of engineering testing, including methods, equipment, reporting and analysis.
- Ability to work well in a Team environment.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong independent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to walk.
- Ability to speak verbally and read in English.
- Ability to see with corrective lenses.
- Ability to hear.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity.
- Ability to use a computer.
- Able to travel up to 10% domestically.
- Normal hazards related to working in an office environment.
