Akkodis is seeking a Paint Automation Specialist for a Contract 12+ Months job with a client in Detroit, MI.
Rate Range: $35/hour to $50/hour; on W2. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Paint Automation SpecialistThe Automation Specialist will support launches and production as a technical expert in Controls & Robotics Systems
Software and hardware floor revisions to CoC standards.
Robotic applications in BIW, General Assembly, and Paint.
Upper level (IT) interfaces to plant floor.
Diagnostics and FIS initiatives to CoC standards.
Technical innovation projects through solution testing and task validation.
Specification documentation through EWOs, MPIs, Kaizens and FIS reports.
DesiredQualifications:
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or HSD with Advance in a similar discipline.
Siemens & Rockwell Control System commissioning and startup experience.
Distributed Control System troubleshooting and problem resolution experience.
Ability to perform on-site control system modifications and tuning.
Experience troubleshooting and installing Microsoft operating systems.
