Maintenance Engineer
Our client, a leading automotive manufacturing company, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their team. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering and Maintenance Department supporting the Production, Skilled Trades, and Maintenance Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and strong interpersonal abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Detroit, MI Pay Range: $40-$50/hour (Depending on Experience)
Provide plant floor support for reactive and proactive maintenance activities in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Respond as a 2nd-level support resource for unscheduled equipment downtime and machine failures. Manage maintenance documentation including spare parts lists, schematics, maintenance plans, and machine prints. Analyze maintenance KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and performance. Lead equipment retrofit, upgrade, and replacement projects while supporting new production line launches.
What'sNeeded?
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline. 5-7 years of experience in Maintenance Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Facilities Engineering, or related fields. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, maintenance practices, and mechanical systems. Experience with CMMS systems, preventative maintenance programs, and KPI analysis. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using AutoCAD or similar applications.
