We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, test, and improve mechanical systems, components, and products. The engineer will participate throughout the product development lifecycle, from concept development and engineering analysis through prototyping, testing, manufacturing, and continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will work closely with design engineers, manufacturing teams, suppliers, quality professionals, and project managers. Responsibilities include developing engineering designs, performing calculations and simulations, evaluating materials, creating technical documentation, and ensuring products meet performance, safety, reliability, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop mechanical components and systems.
- Create and review engineering drawings and specifications.
- Perform engineering calculations and simulations.
- Develop prototypes and coordinate testing activities.
- Analyze mechanical failures and recommend corrective actions.
- Work with manufacturing teams to improve production processes.
- Evaluate materials, components, and suppliers.
- Support product testing and validation.
- Prepare technical reports and engineering documentation.
- Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mechanical design and engineering analysis
- CAD software such as Solid Works, AutoCAD, or Creo
- 3D modeling
- GD&T
- Materials and manufacturing processes
- Mechanical testing and validation
- Finite Element Analysis knowledge
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong technical communication
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline. A Master's degree and professional engineering credentials are advantageous for advanced positions.
