Purpose/Description
Under the general direction of the Senior Licensed Engineer, the Licensed Professional Engineer is responsible for aiding in the management and administration of local, state and federal programs and activities related to wastewater control systems, and other engineering matters as assigned. The position is involved in the engineer planning, designing, constructing, operating and maintaining of wastewater control systems. This position may also supervise other staff who assist with wastewater functions.
This position may act as an engineering advisor and liaison for the division between various federal agencies, state agencies and local communities.
