Due to further expansion, Akkodis is seeking a qualified HIL Interface Engineer to join our Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) Engineering Lab on our dedicated team for the next several years while supporting our exclusive partnership with a domestic vehicle manufacturer in the Detroit Metro area.
As a HiL Interface Engineer
, you'll contribute to the system level test environment design, creation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, testing activities and automation support, Simulink model integration, and electromechanical test solutions deployment and maintenance.
Starting Pay Range: $70,000 to $75,000/yr (salary commensurate based on experience and education levels).

QUALIFICATIONS (required):- Academic or professional background in mechatronics and/or Robotics is highly desired.
- dSpace Hardware & Software suite experience.
- Prior experience associated with commissioning of racks is helpful, though not required.
- Knowledge of CANalyzer, hands-on vehicle logging tools, issue management systems (JIRA, JIRA Aligned, JIRA Cloud, DOORS). Functional working experience with Test data acquisition equipment and triaging-troubleshooting DMM/Oscilloscopes/Digital signal generators, etc.
- Functional working experience automotive electrical architecture and systems.
- Functional understanding of ECU Diagnostic and communication protocols.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, One Note, Access).
- Ability to handle sophisticated tasks and complicated situations under compressed timing.
- Outstanding planning, organizational, and project management skills with accurate follow-up to accomplish multiple objectives.
- Effective written and oral presentation skills. Ability to build strong effective relationships with multi-functional teams and work well with people at all levels of the organization
- Vehicle Program launch experience is desirable.
- Hands-on experience in a state-of-the-art automotive testing environment
