About the Opportunity

We’re looking for a Factory Deployed Engineer to join a fast-growing, well-funded AI manufacturing startup.

In this role, you’ll work directly with factory operations to build software, automation, and hardware solutions that make manufacturing processes smarter, faster, and more efficient.

This is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys hands-on problem solving and wants to see their work move from an idea to a real-world solution on the factory floor.

What You’ll Do

Build software and tools that improve factory operations
Develop and improve manufacturing automation
Optimize production workflows and processes
Work with hardware, machines, robotics, and other physical systems
Develop operational tools to solve real manufacturing challenges
Identify problems and create practical engineering solutions
Take ownership of projects from initial concept through deployment
Work closely with manufacturing and engineering teams
Use modern AI tools to accelerate development and problem solving

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone with a background in:

Mechanical Engineering
Manufacturing Engineering
Industrial Engineering
Mechatronics, Robotics, or a closely related field

You should also have:

Strong software development/programming skills
Hands‑on experience working with hardware or physical systems
Experience solving engineering problems in a manufacturing, automation, or similar environment
Strong ownership and ability to work independently
A startup mindset and willingness to move quickly
Interest in and comfort with AI and modern AI‑powered development tools
Ability to work onsite in Detroit, Michigan
