Metric Geo is partnered with a leading employee-owned design consultancy that specialises in sustainable infrastructure and collection-systems. They are seeking an experience Senior Project Manager. You will be responsible for planning, directing, supervising, and controlling the business, technical, financial, and administrative functions of assigned programs, projects, and related tasks.

- Manage client relationships and collaborate with business development teams to identify and cultivate new clients and opportunities.
- Support contract negotiations, including defining project scope, budget, schedule, and engineering fees, while ensuring contractual obligations are met.
- Coordinate company resources and support departments to assemble effective project teams.
- Supervise the daily activities of technical, production, and business support staff.
- Prepare work plans and manage project scope, budget, schedule, deliverables, and overall performance.
- Promote technical excellence and ensure established quality assurance and quality control requirements are met.
- Review contractual and financial performance and direct corrective actions where required.
- Monitor project activity and report significant milestones, risks, and conditions that may affect costs or schedules.
- Conduct performance evaluations for direct reports and provide mentoring, training, and professional development opportunities.
- Provide technical and production support as needed.
- Develop and oversee project-specific safety and health plans.
- Comply with all applicable company, client, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelors or better in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Master’s degree in Engineering or related discipline from an accredited institution
- 10+ years of relevant engineering experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university
- Minimum of 8 years-experience: experience in municipal water, wastewater, storm water and paving projects is preferred.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
- Excellent communication skills; ability to convey information effectively; understand ideas and information presented in writing and verbally; including presentations
