Safety Officer

Monday thru Friday, 38 weeks

• Ensure the safety of students and staff
• Build positive relationships with student body, staff and parent/guardians
• Enforce the Student Code of Conduct
• Patrol interior and exterior of facility
• Assist administration/staff with daily needs
• Perform necessary report writing/documentation duties
• Other duties assigned by administration/supervisor
• Available to work various events in the evening and on weekends
• Ability to work in an economically, culturally and racially diverse environment.
• Regular,reliable and punctual attendance

Performs other related tasks as designated by the Director of Safety.

• Must be a high school graduate
• Minimum of two years of college level Criminal Justice courses or related work experience preferred
• Public relations experience
