Job Description Summary

The Senior Global Mobility Analyst supports the movement of critical talent across Dauch's global manufacturing footprint. This individual partners closely with HR, leadership, and external vendors to manage international assignments, tax compliance, and relocation programs, in alignment with established policies, processes, and business needs. This person will support consistent execution of mobility activities across regions and contributes to the effective coordination of global mobility programs.

Job Description
  • Manages end-to-end mobility processes for assignments and transfers that support global and domestic movement of associates.
  • Coordinates relocation of associates across regions.
  • Prepares and reviews assignment letters, compensation packages, and cost projections with an emphasis on cost control.
  • Provides dedicated support to associates and families relocating to/from Dauch locations.
  • Applies global mobility policies consistently across business units and regions.
  • Recommends enhancements that improve cost efficiency, competitiveness, and compliance.
  • Supports global governance of assignment types, allowances, and vendor service levels.
  • Collaborates with tax providers to manage tax equalization, host/remote tax obligations, and cross-border reporting.
  • Reviews cost estimates, relocation expenses, and assignment budgets to support Finance in forecasting mobility spending.
  • Partners with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and Business Unit leaders to structure mobility solutions that support staffing requirements.
  • Advises leadership on competitive market trends impacting mobility for critical technical roles.
  • Builds strong relationships with global HR teams to ensure alignment and consistency.
  • Oversees relocation, tax, and relocation service providers, ensuring cost-effective, effective service delivery meeting manufacturing-driven timelines.
  • Evaluates vendor performance, manages escalations, and recommends process improvements.
  • Maintains required documentation and records to support compliance with mobility, tax, and employment requirements.
  • Supports immigration-related activities by coordinating timelines, documentation, and external partners as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5-7+ years of global mobility or international HR experience, preferably within automotive manufacturing.
  • Understanding of expatriate administration, immigration processes, and global tax principles.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills with experience reviewing mobility cost models.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive associate situations and time-critical mobility decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer service focus for both associates and business leaders.
