Location of Position: Detroit, MI.
Salary: Neg.
Days: Monday - Friday (some Saturdays)
Hours: 9am-5pm

- Provides accurate, courteous, and timely professional service to existing and prospective members.
- Ability to operate branch working independently with little or no supervision.
- Meet and exceed branch membership and lending goals and objectives.
- Ability to build relationships with members and identify opportunities to cross sell credit union products and services to enhance their financial well‑being.
- Process loan and new membership applications ensuring proper credit union processes are followed and adhered to.
- Process transfers between accounts and automatic distribution forms, recording all transactions according to member's request and credit union guidelines.
- Perform credit card advances, receive loan payments, and service charge payments as required.
- Assist members by providing information and answering questions about the credit union services and requirements/eligibility.
- High school diploma or GED required. Some college level coursework preferred.
- Two years prior banking and customer service experience.
- Identifying opportunities to enhance member financial needs, goals and objectives.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with financial systems.
- Professional business‑like appearance.
- Must have a strong interest in giving back to the community.
- A passion for helping others.
- Strong problem‑solving skills.
- A positive team‑oriented attitude.
- Commitment to delivering outstanding service.
