Overview

We are an early-stage micromobility startup building a highly scalable, proprietary station-based fleet model focused on engineering excellence and operational longevity. We are actively raising a $2M or more seed round with an initial $2 million or more ask to accelerate go-to-market, scale manufacturing, and expand product execution.

Why This Role Matters

You will be the company’s primary capital-formation leader and investor champion, owning outreach, deal execution, and investor relations from first contact through close and beyond. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role with meaningful equity upside tied directly to fundraising outcomes.

Core Responsibilities
  • Capital Formation:
Source, qualify, prioritize, and manage targeted outreach to angels, seed VCs, family offices, and syndicates.
  • Fundraising Execution:
Own and maintain the pitch deck, financial model, one-pager, and investor data room; manage NDAs and investor DDQs.
  • Deal Execution:
Lead term-sheet negotiation, coordinate with company legal counsel, and shepherd investors through closing.
  • Diligence Coordination:
Collect and deliver legal, financial, and operational materials; manage investor Q&A and timelines.
  • Investor Communications:
Craft the investor narrative, produce monthly KPIs, and prepare board materials.
  • Roadshows and Events:
Plan and lead investor meetings, demo days, and targeted roadshows.
  • Relationship Management:
Convert warm leads into term sheets and cultivate investor champions for follow-on rounds.
  • Compliance:
Ensure all fundraising communications follow securities norms and company policies.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience:

7+ years in VC, investor relations, investment banking, placement, or capital formation roles.
  • Track Record:
Demonstrable success sourcing and closing $1M+ rounds or managing multiple seed/Series A closings.
  • Network:
Active, warm investor network across institutional seed funds, family offices, and high-net-worth angels.
  • Financial Literacy:
Strong financial modeling, cap table management, and term-sheet literacy.
  • Communication:
Exceptional storytelling with superb written and verbal skills.
  • Operational Discipline:
Experience running secure data rooms and coordinating legal closings.

  • Acceleration:
Single-trigger acceleration on change of control for unvested milestone tranches; double-trigger for time-based tranches.
  • Governance:
Role reports to Founder/CEO; board observer rights negotiable upon achieving critical fundraising milestones.
  • 30 Days:
Finalize investor narrative, deck, and financial model; build a prioritized target investor list of 100+ qualified leads; launch initial outreach.
  • 60 Days:
Secure 10+ qualified investor meetings; obtain at least 3 data-room or diligence requests.
  • 90 Days:
