Overview
Bloomfield Eye Associates is seeking a part‑time Ophthalmology Technician located in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
Responsibilities- Assisting ophthalmologists in performing eye examinations and procedures.
- Collect patient medical history and document vital signs accurately.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while handling patient information.
- Maintain and sterilize ophthalmic instruments and equipment.
- Utilize EMR systems to update patient records and manage appointments.
- Provide excellent patient care and support during visits, addressing any concerns.
- Minimum two years of experience as an Ophthalmic Technician.
- Must be able to efficiently and accurately work up patients, including manual refraction, OCT, Topography, Fundus photography, check intraocular pressures, and help with office surgical procedures.
- Experience working in retina is a plus but not required.
- Must be able to do manual refractions.
