Position: Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist - $1,660 per week

Job Overview

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a contract assignment in Detroit, Michigan.

Start Date:

ASAP. Duration: 13 weeks (36 hours per week) on 12‑hour days.

Employment Type:

Travel.

Responsibilities
  • Duties will include but are not limited to respiratory care services to individual patients and their families through assessment, care planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation.
  • May respond to medical emergencies throughout the facility and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
Qualifications
  • Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner.
  • 1–2 years minimum acute‑care experience.
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Active Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Active Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
  • BLS from the American Heart Association is required.
  • Strong customer‑service skills.
  • Ability to handle a multitasking environment.
  • Basic PC skills such as Windows NT and computerized respiratory equipment.
Contract Details
  • Salary: $1,494–$1,660 per week.
  • 12‑week contract with possibility of extension.
  • AM shifts available.
  • Estimated weekly payment may include taxable wages plus tax‑free reimbursements for meals, housing, and incidentals.
