Assumes responsibility for facilitating and coordinating the clinical documentation program and serves as a resource to the factors influencing the complexity of documentation; works collaboratively with staff to improve the quality of clinical record documentation.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
* Bachelors of Science degree required, Master's degree in Health Care Administration or related preferred.
* Requires a minimum of three years clinical documentation experience in an acute care setting.
* Requires exemplary organizational and communication skills.
* Requires the ability to build relationships and negotiate process and outcomes, and influence behaviors. PC and software knowledge required.
