Join the experience as we are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Porter at ROOST Detroit
. As a Porter, you are responsible for providing quality guest service as it pertains to packages, storage room organization and bell duty services in a gracious and professional manner.

• Back Alley/Trash Rooms: keep clear, breakdown boxes, and monitor our trash rooms/ bins
• Diagnose and fix issues in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house
• Document work orders, inspections
• Assist housemen as requested by department leadership
• Maintains stock for maintenance supplies, keeping records of maintenance activities
• Other related duties as assigned by management

• Ability to lift, balance and carry up to 25 lbs. to transport carts, cleaning supplies, linen, equipment, etc.
• Ability to lift, balance and carry (with assistance) up to 100 lbs. to transport mattresses, inventory, equipment, etc.
• Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods to clean and organize the guest rooms, spaces, storage, equipment, etc.
