Talent Manager, Employee Relations
The Opportunity
HR Generalist is responsible for managing various human resources functions, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive work environment. This role involves handling recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, and compliance-related activities. The HR Generalist will act as a key resource for employees and management, supporting HR initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness.
Location: Taylor, Michigan and Chicago, Illinois.
A Snapshot Of What You Will Be Doing Here- Implement and oversee HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.
- Address employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and provide conflict resolution strategies.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments, updates, and employee inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, maintaining up-to-date HR documentation.
- Maintain and manage employee records in HR systems.
- Support performance management processes, including performance reviews and goal-setting initiatives.
- Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and engagement.
- Lead and support HR projects that improve workplace culture and efficiency.
- Assist with payroll processing and maintain HRIS systems as needed.
- Perform other operational and business support tasks as assigned, maintaining flexibility and professionalism.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in an HR role.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.

- Pay range: $70,000-$75,000 based on experience and qualifications.
