Director Strategy
Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly self-motivated and analytical Director Strategy to join our Strategy & Insights group. This role requires deep curiosity around the intersection of consumers, brands, and the automotive space. You will act as a consultant, skillful at handling sometimes ambiguous and loosely defined project requests to deliver clear, impactful insights. A passion for synthesizing large amounts of data and research – encompassing market dynamics, consumer behaviors, and competitive intelligence – into compelling, data-driven narratives that articulate actionable strategic recommendations is essential.
Key Responsibilities- Competitive Intelligence & Market Analysis:
Continuously monitor competitor activities, identify emerging market trends, and uncover strategic opportunities and threats within the automotive industry. - Consumer & Brand Understanding:
Develop a profound understanding of consumer motivations, needs, fears/desires, and brand perceptions. - Data Analysis & Insight Generation:
Proficiently access, analyze, and synthesize diverse data sources to uncover actionable insights and strategic implications. - Strategic Storytelling & Communication:
Translate complex data and insights into clear, compelling, and engaging presentations and narratives. - Presentation Development &
Collaboration:
Build high-impact strategic presentations and collaborate seamlessly with internal and client teams. - Automotive Market Expertise:
Apply deep knowledge of the automotive industry, including OEMs, mobility trends, technological advancements, and regulatory environments. - Consultative Approach:
Operate as an agile consultant, adapting quickly to evolving needs and providing expert strategic guidance to internal teams and clients. - Collaboration & Relationship Building:
Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leaders.
The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. $75,000—$180,000 USD
