Downtown Detroit, MI

Schedule:

Onsite – 5 days per week

Long term contract

We are seeking a Microsoft Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support to business users and executives while also contributing to technical initiatives and projects. This role is ideal for someone who is equally comfortable troubleshooting day-to-day user issues and partnering with IT teams on broader technology efforts.

The position is 100% onsite in downtown Detroit, five days per week, and requires strong communication skills, technical curiosity, and a service-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities
  • Provide white-glove executive and business user support, both deskside and remotely
  • Troubleshoot and support Windows-based systems, hardware, and peripherals
  • Support Microsoft applications across desktops and mobile devices (iPad/iPhone)
  • Administer and support Office 365, including Outlook, Teams, and Share Point
  • Assist with Teams collaboration, meetings, and integrations
  • Support and contribute to Power Platform initiatives (Power Apps and Power BI)
  • Manage devices and policies using Microsoft Intune
  • Support development and technical teams using Visual Studio and SQL-based tools
  • Participate in technical projects, upgrades, and process improvements
  • Document solutions, procedures, and known issues
  • Collaborate closely with IT leadership and cross-functional teams
Required Skills & Experience
  • Experience supporting a Microsoft-centric technology stack
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, including executive-level support
  • Working knowledge of:
    • Windows OS and basic system administration
    • Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)
    • Microsoft apps on iOS devices (iPad/iPhone)
  • Ability to troubleshoot independently and escalate appropriately
  • Comfortable working onsite in a professional, fast-paced environment
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
  • Experience with Power Apps and/or Power BI
  • Exposure to Visual Studio and SQL
  • Experience supporting senior leaders or executive teams
  • Interest in growing into technical projects or application support
  • Prior experience in a corporate or enterprise IT environment
