We are seeking a Software Engineer III to serve as a key subject matter expert (SME) for enterprise reporting across Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle Autonomous Database (ADW), and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). This role ensures the stability, performance, and scalability of our analytics platforms while supporting reporting needs for HCM and ERP environments. You will work closely with IT teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to deliver high‑quality reporting solutions and maintain operational excellence.
Responsibilities- Act as SME for Oracle Analytics Cloud and Oracle Data Integrator, supporting enterprise reporting needs.
- Design, develop, and enhance reporting capabilities for HCM, ERP, and other enterprise systems.
- Coordinate change and release management activities using ITIL‑aligned practices.
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop SQL/PLSQL code, database objects, and data models to support reporting and analytics.
- Support ETL processes, data conversions, data cleansing, and data warehouse initiatives.
- Create automation, scripts, and integrations using Python, Bash, Power Shell, Perl, or Batch.
- Maintain documentation, including functional design documents, runbooks, knowledgebase articles, and incident playbooks.
- Assist security and audit teams with compliance reporting and remediation efforts.
- Manage daily ticket queues and act as an escalation point for complex issues.
- Work collaboratively within Agile and Dev Ops environments using Git‑based workflows.
- Coordinate with SaaS vendors to maintain application stability and performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) reporting, particularly for HCM and ERP.
- Hands‑on experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and Oracle Autonomous Database (ADB/ADW).
- Proficient in SQL/PLSQL, SQR, People Code, and related database programming tools.
- Experience with ETL development, data conversions, data cleansing, and data warehouse support.
- Ability to build reporting solutions across Oracle Fusion, HRIS, ERP, and external systems.
- Familiarity with Git, Agile development methodologies, and Dev Ops tooling.
- Understanding of ITIL and change management principles.
- Platform experience with Linux and Windows (mainframe experience a plus).
- Strong communication, documentation, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to operate as a reporting SME and serve as an escalation point for complex issues.
- Experience with People Soft HCM modules.
- Relevant certifications such as Oracle, ITIL, or similar.
- Familiarity with cloud operating models, including on‑prem, SaaS, and cloud‑based solutions.
