SAP FSCD Techno Functional - Senior Associate

About the role

As a Techno-Functional Architect specializing in SAP FS-CD, you will make an impact by designing and implementing robust solutions that optimize financial services processes. You will be a valued member of the Insurance Technology team and work collaboratively with business process owners, domain experts, and development teams to deliver scalable, efficient, and innovative solutions.

• Lead configuration and development in SAP ECC 6.0 and S/4
  
  HANA FS-CD, including at least two full implementations and one on S/4
  
  HANA

• Design and develop ABAP-based technical solutions (RICEFW – Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms & Workflows) aligned with business requirements

• Implement and enhance OData/Web Services, RFCs, ALE/IDOCs, User Exits, BADIs, BAPIs, workflows, and the Enhancement Framework

• Provide deep process expertise in FS-CD, including FQ events, end-to-end process knowledge, and integration with third-party applications such as banks

• Support end-user acceptance testing, production operations, and release management while ensuring compliance and system reliability

• 5+ years of configuration and development in SAP ECC 6.0 core modules with minimum 2 full FS-CD implementations and 1 full S/4
  
  HANA implementation

• Strong RICEFW development experience with ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications

• Hands‑on expertise in OData/Web Services, RFCs, ALE/IDOCs, User Exits, BADIs, BAPIs, workflows, and Enhancement Framework

• Deep knowledge of FS‑CD processes, including FQ events and integration with third‑party applications like banks

• Strong ABAP/Object‑Oriented ABAP programming skills with expertise in CDS views, AMDP procedures, and Adobe forms

• Experience in SAP Insurance domain (FS-CD) with exposure to dealer reinsurance projects

• Expertise in designing and modeling OData services using Gateway Service Builder

• Strong knowledge of SAP FS-CD integration with other SAP modules and external systems

• Ability to support end‑user testing, production operations, and release management effectively

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to work across teams

The annual salary for this position is between $90,000 - $102,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
