IT Procurement Analyst Position Overview
The Technology Services department is responsible for providing and managing the technology needs.
Seeking qualified candidates who will utilize their knowledge, skills, and abilities to serve as an on site IT Procurement Analyst.
The Analyst will be responsible to plan, process, and track purchasing activities while assisting with contract management for the department.
Key Responsibilities- Purchasing activities across the infrastructure and application portfolios:
- Follow standard operating procedures and sourcing strategies.
- Process Purchase Orders, Route Invoices, Place Orders.
- Act as liaison with Procurement, Legal, AP, and Vendors.
- Track contracts, renewals, licenses, and budgets.
- Provide weekly status reports to management.
- Assist with contract portfolio for Tech Services department.
- Support solicitations for goods, services, and projects.
- Support presentations, evaluation matrices, and write-ups.
- Assist with evaluation of new vendors, products, and services.
- Work with management to address vendor performance issues.
- Perform related duties as directed.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
- OR High School Diploma with minimum three (3) years of experience performing the duties outlined in the Minimum Qualifications.
- Three (3) years experience in Procurement/Purchasing.
- Two (2) years supporting complex projects that spread across multiple stakeholders or departments.
- One (1) year working in an enterprise technology department.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work on their own in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ability to analyze data, develop statistical reports, and reconcile records.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Knowledge of enterprise software and hardware licensing.
- Knowledge of technology platforms, infrastructure, and application development.
- Working knowledge with core technologies:
Oracle Fusion, Service Now, Office
365. - Experience in the public sector.
- Knowledge identifying grant opportunities.
- Basic understanding of emerging technology and concepts such as AI/ML, IoT, etc.
