Responsibilities- Hardware Development:
Design and prototype IoT hardware components, including sensors for health metrics (e.g., saliva analysis, biometric detectors), microcontrollers (e.g., ESP
32, Raspberry Pi), and integration with our AI coffee machine for real-time data capture. - Embedded Systems:
Develop firmware for low-power devices, ensuring reliable sensor interfacing, data processing, and wireless communication protocols (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Zigbee). - Software Engineering:
Build backend and frontend software for IoT platforms, including APIs, data pipelines, and cloud integrations (e.g., AWS IoT, Azure IoT) to handle biological data streams and AGI model inputs. - System Integration:
Connect hardware with software ecosystems, enabling secure data transmission from devices to our AGI models for analyzing compound-biology interactions and generating health insights. - Testing and Optimization:
Perform end-to-end testing for hardware reliability, software security, and system performance; debug issues related to connectivity, power efficiency, and scalability. - Security and Compliance:
Implement IoT security best practices (e.g., encryption, authentication) and ensure compliance with health data regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR). - Innovation and
Collaboration:
Research emerging IoT technologies, collaborate with bio researchers, product designers, and holographic teams to enhance features like animated avatars for user interfaces. - Deployment and Maintenance:
Oversee remote deployment of IoT solutions, monitor system health, and iterate based on user feedback and data analytics.
- Completed or working on Bachelor’s, Master’s or PHD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years in IoT development, with proven experience in both hardware (e.g., PCB design, sensor integration) and software (e.g., C/C++, Python, Node.js).
- Proficiency in hardware tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad) and software frameworks (e.g., MQTT, FreeRTOS, Docker).
- Experience with wireless protocols, edge AI, and cloud platforms for IoT applications.
- Knowledge of bio-sensor technologies or health tech (e.g., wearable integrations) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with hands-on experience in prototyping and full-stack IoT projects.
- Excellent communication for remote teamwork and documentation.
- Portfolio or examples of IoT projects demonstrating hardware-software synergy.
