Cloud Architect

A global technology organization at the forefront of advanced electronics manufacturing is seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Architect to lead the design, modernization, and security of large-scale enterprise cloud infrastructure environments.

This is a high-impact role focused on building scalable, secure, and resilient multi-cloud platforms supporting global engineering, manufacturing, and enterprise operations. The position will play a key role in cloud transformation initiatives, platform modernization, Dev Sec Ops  enablement, and enterprise cloud governance across highly complex global environments.

• Design and architect secure, scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments
• Lead enterprise cloud migration and modernization initiatives including re-hosting, re-platforming, refactoring, and hybrid cloud transformation programs
• Develop cloud-native reference architectures, security guardrails, and operational standards for enterprise cloud adoption
• Architect secure cloud networking solutions including hybrid connectivity, segmentation, VPNs, Direct Connect, Express Route, and cloud interconnect technologies
• Drive Zero Trust and identity-first security initiatives including IAM, RBAC, federation, secrets management, and least-privilege access models
• Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions utilizing Terraform, Cloud Formation, ARM/Bicep, and automation frameworks
• Partner with engineering and security teams to integrate Dev Sec Ops  best practices into CI/CD pipelines and cloud operations
• Support Kubernetes, container, serverless, and microservices security initiatives including runtime protection and policy enforcement
• Lead cloud governance initiatives around observability, compliance, Fin Ops, tagging strategies, and operational excellence frameworks
• Evaluate emerging cloud and security technologies to continuously improve scalability, resilience, and platform security
• Develop architecture documentation, technical roadmaps, threat models, and executive-level presentations for key stakeholders

• 7+ years of hands-on cloud architecture or cloud engineering experience within enterprise environments
• Strong expertise with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with multi-cloud exposure preferred
• Deep experience with cloud networking, cloud security architecture, and hybrid infrastructure design
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containers, serverless technologies, and microservices architectures
• Strong knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices
• Experience implementing Dev Sec Ops  pipelines and embedding security into cloud engineering workflows
• Expertise across IAM, encryption, network security, Zero Trust principles, and cloud governance frameworks
• Experience supporting highly available production environments at enterprise scale
• Strong understanding of compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO, CIS, SOC2, or PCI
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across engineering, infrastructure, security, and executive leadership teams
