DevOps Engineer

Lead of the Team of Dev Ops Engineers to maintain, support and enhance our CICD practices.

• Implementing and maintaining new Continuous Integration tools and infrastructure.
• Understanding the changing needs of developers and translating them into action items.
• Creating new ways to automate and improve the Continuous Integration process.
• Testing and examining code written by others.
• Identifying technical problems and developing updates and fixes.
• Working with other teams in the organization to ensure adherence to our best practices.
• Setting up, maintaining, and optimizing pipelines (Jenkins/Git Hub Actions).
• Deploy updates and fixes as required to ensure Continuous Integration.
• Develop solutions to integrate with internal back-end systems as needed.
• Perform root cause analysis of development and production build and pipeline issues.
• Develop automation to enhance current processes.
• Develop new procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.

Experience Required

• 10+ years of experience as a Dev Ops engineer or a similar software engineering role.
• 3+ years in a leadership role leading a team of Dev Ops or software engineers.
• A strong foundation in System Engineering and Administration
  - Linux, Windows.
• Experience with one or more of the following scripting languages
  - Bash, Power Shell, Python.
• Experience with one or more of the following Version Control/Repository Management tools
  - Git, Git Hub, Git Lab.
• Experience with one of the following CICD tools
  - Jenkins, Git Lab CI/CD, Git Hub Actions, Circle-CI.
• Experience with one or more of the following Observability tools
  - Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog Cloud Watch, Lens.
• Experience with one or more of the following log management tools
  - Elastic Stack, Grafana Loki, Fluent

• Experience with one or more of the following Configuration Management tools
  - Ansible, Chef, Puppet.
• Experience with one or more of the following Cloud Platforms - GCP, AWS, Azure.
• Experience with embedded systems build and development process preferred.
• Team leadership experience highly preferred.

• Bachelor's Degree.
