QA Lead, IT​/Tech, IT QA Tester ​/ Automation

Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for a QA Lead for a contract opportunity in Detroit, MI!

QA Lead

Detroit, MI - Hybrid schedule (In office Tue, Wed, Thu)

12+ month contract with eligibility for renewal.

W2 contract

6+ years preferred

• Strong, hands‑on experience in test automation, with a focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test suites using Selenium Web Driver
• Proficiency in writing and maintaining automated tests for web applications using C# within a .NET environment
• Experience with creating manual test cases based on business requirements
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Azure Pipelines or Git Hub Actions
• Proven experience owning the performance testing lifecycle, including:
  • Developing and maintaining performance test scripts using JMeter
  • Executing and analyzing tests in Azure Load Testing
  • Reviewing and optimizing load test configurations
  • Providing actionable performance improvement recommendations to development team
• Strong experience using Azure Test Plans for test case management and traceability
• Experience designing test strategies for complex systems that implement Authentication and Authorization protocols, particularly within Azure environments
• Working knowledge of the Azure ecosystem (e.g., Azure Dev Ops, App Services, Monitoring)
• Familiarity with Type Script and frontend automation tools is a plus

• Demonstrated ability to lead QA efforts within Agile teams, including planning, execution, and continuous quality improvement
• Experience mentoring and guiding less experienced QA engineers in both automation and performance testing
• Strong advocate for quality practices across the SDLC, with the ability to collaborate effectively with developers, Dev Ops, and product stakeholders
