This is a senior individual contributor role focused on leading the technical delivery of Professional Services projects in AWS. You'll guide delivery teams, partner closely with Engagement Managers, and stay accountable for the overall technical success of client work.

The role blends architecture, hands‑on technical direction, client communication, and project governance. You'll help shape solutions that meet customer requirements, pressure‑test technical decisions, and make sure delivery stays on track.

• Design and document AWS solutions that align with customer needs and requirements
• Architect and build AWS environments, including landing zones, container platforms, application hosting environments, and data storage solutions
• Work with services such as Control Tower, EKS, ECS, S3, Transit Gateway, and EC2
• Conduct cost‑benefit and risk‑reward analysis to support solution decisions
• Create solution designs, deployment plans, and high‑level validation approaches for delivery teams to execute
• Partner with Engagement Managers on customer communication, and join pre‑sales calls when technical expertise is needed
• Mentor team members, explain solution rationale and leading practices to clients, and help build consensus with technical stakeholders
• Support strong project governance through daily progress reviews, challenging technical approaches when needed, holding teams accountable, and submitting time daily

• 5+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect
• 3+ years architecting AWS infrastructure, plus 3+ years building AWS infrastructure
• 1+ year of infrastructure as code experience, with Terraform preferred
• 1+ year working with a Dev Ops toolchain such as Git Hub, Git Lab, or the AWS Code Suite
• At least one AWS Professional certification
• Strong working knowledge of AWS cloud security practices
• Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Cloud Formation
• Experience with configuration management tools including Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
• Proficient in at least one programming or scripting language, such as Python, Java, or Node
• Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall SDLC methodologies
• Able to support multiple clients in parallel
• Ability to work an Eastern Time Zone schedule while supporting customers across regions

• Additional AWS certifications
• Experience with container development or orchestration, including Kubernetes, Docker, or EKS
• Experience with static or dynamic code analysis in CI/CD environments
• Familiarity with code analysis and observability tools such as AWS X-Ray, App Dynamics, or Dynatrace
