• Document and manage new and existing business processes to facilitate training, analysis, and redesign.
• Conduct thorough analysis of existing and new business processes and identify opportunities for improving workforce efficiency.
• Perform analysis of operational business requirements and conduct gap analysis for any required modification to an existing business process.
• Create and maintain a requirements database that documents how each existing or new business requirement is being supported.
• Validate that any proposed solution satisfies the underlying need for each requirement.
• Collect marketing materials from industry solution providers that claim to satisfy identified business requirements.
• Document and manage new and existing functional capabilities provided by existing and proposed IT solutions.
• Analyze existing capabilities against documented business requirements to determine where gaps in technology impede or prevent efficient execution of business processes.
• Compare marketing materials from industry solution providers and deliver an Analysis of Alternatives for the Program Management Office (PMO) to identify and prioritize new projects.
• Validate that proposed solutions successfully deliver new functional business capabilities addressing existing requirements.
• Build and execute thorough test scripts to evaluate multiple products and provide purchase recommendations.
• Review all solution configuration changes to maintain an accurate picture of the Discovery Program’s business capabilities.
• Perform other systems analysis research and documentation tasks as assigned.
