IT Support, Systems Administrator
About the Role
You will be the boots-on-the-ground IT presence for a key GPARROT client account, traveling between multiple locations daily across the Detroit metro area to keep infrastructure running and support ongoing technology initiatives. You will work closely with the client's IT leadership and serve as a trusted Grey Parrot representative on-site. Mileage reimbursement is provided for all site travel.
Must-Have Skills- Demonstrated hands-on experience in IT systems administration or infrastructure support
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory — user provisioning, group policies, directory maintenance
- Microsoft Intune — Setup, device enrollment, compliance policies, endpoint configuration
- Azure Entra — Setup, Conditional Access, MFA, hybrid identity configurations
- Experience provisioning, imaging, configuring, and deploying Windows laptops and end-user devices
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong communication skills — comfortable with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Manage and support Microsoft Active Directory across multiple site locations
- Set up Microsoft Intune from the ground up — tenant configuration, compliance policies, device enrollment workflows, and endpoint management framework
- Administer Microsoft Intune for device enrollment, compliance, and endpoint configuration
- Set up Azure Entra the ground up — tenant configuration, identity architecture, Conditional Access policies, and hybrid identity rollout
- Manage Azure Entra — Conditional Access, MFA, and hybrid identity configurations
- Provision, image, configure, and deploy Windows laptops and end-user devices across locations
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues at client sites with urgency and professionalism
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams on technology rollouts and infrastructure projects
- Maintain clear documentation for IT processes, configurations, and asset inventory
- Familiarity with PCI DSS compliance standards and audit processes
- Microsoft certifications (MD-102, AZ-900, or equivalent)
- Experience in multi-site or high-volume service environment IT support
