As a Senior Consultant, you will lead risk and controls engagements for clients in the Power & Utilities sector, providing expertise in regulatory compliance, operational processes, and information technology controls.
The OpportunityOur consulting risk services provide clients with a candid and reliable overview of their risk landscape. We help Power & Utilities clients navigate regulatory compliance and operational efficiency, building confidence and trust with stakeholders.
YourKey Responsibilities
- Lead risk and controls projects focused on regulatory compliance in the Power & Utilities sector.
- Design and implement information systems, resources, and controls to maximize efficiencies and minimize risk.
- Lead analysis, evaluation, and enhancement of information systems to support business internal control processes.
- Provide guidance on regulatory requirements and industry trends.
- Mentor and develop junior team members.
- Lead and manage projects focused on regulatory compliance within the Power & Utilities sector.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational processes and efficiency.
- Drive risk and controls project teams, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with clients to identify compliance challenges and develop tailored solutions.
- Provide expert guidance on regulatory requirements and industry trends.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- A bachelor's or master's degree.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the Power & Utilities industry or consulting in the sector.
- Proven experience in regulatory compliance and understanding of operational processes in Power & Utilities, particularly Work Management, Asset Management, and/or Utility accounting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive project teams effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Willingness to work excess hours when necessary; valid passport required.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in business, accounting, finance, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Relevant certifications: PMP, Six Sigma, CPA, CA, CISA, CISSP, CISM, CBCP, CIA, CIPP, CGEIT. Non-certified hires are required to become certified to be eligible for promotion to Manager.
- Competitive compensation and benefits package, including medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and paid time off options. Base salary ranges for U.S. locations from $97,900 to $179,500, with higher ranges for NYC, Washington State, and California.
- Hybrid work model: 40-60% on-site for external, client-serving roles.
