Associate Field Engineer

• Provide hardware support, installations, and upgrades of all Everpure Storage and Cirrus equipment
• Schedule installation engagements and coordinate the delivery of parts
• Perform installation and configuration of Everpure storage equipment (unboxing, lifting, racking/stacking, etc.)
• Interact with IT customers and TSP technical team members, including presales, services, and support organizations
• Impact extends to customer technical representatives, including systems administrators and technical managers
• Travel for training and work up to 85% of the time
• Weekend and evening work required, as are holidays
• Mandatory training:
  • Everpure Install web-based training – remote
  • Everpure Installation training (PIT) – in-person in Dallas, TX (travel expenses covered)
  • NDU class – in-person in Dallas, TX (travel expenses covered)

• Minimum of high school diploma or GED is required; degree in computer science, information technology, or any technical field preferred
• Technical skills in the areas of storage, server, and networking technologies
• Understanding storage protocols including FC, iSCSI, NFS, SMB, and S3
• Experience with hardware installation and software configuration
• Experience creating a run book, design workbook, and statement of work
• Must be reliable, proactive, and possess the ability to take ownership of multiple engagements
• Ability to work as a team player and effectively allocate time and resources to manage multiple projects
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Consultancy experience and customer-facing skills

• Experience with VMware, Microsoft Windows Server, and Linux
• Experience with one or more of the following:
  Citrix Xen Desktop, VMware, Oracle, SQL

• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Must be able to lift and install equipment (up to 75 pounds) into customer racks
• Must be fluent in English
• Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
